Productions

We are thrilled to be appointed Pleasance Theatre Associate Artists 2026 - 2028. Working closely with London’s and Edinburgh’s hotspot for new innovative work, we will develop in-house productions and expand our participation provision, focused on early-career creatives.

Teaming up with Nettle Soup Productions for their run at the Hope Theatre ‘Nettle Soup Volume 1’. A double bill of ‘Temperance’ written by Izzie Harding-Perrott and ‘Leylines’ written by Dan Sinclair- both pieces tell the story of Devon old and new, and the things that never change.

‘Untitled’ is an ongoing in-house work-in-progress sharing of all the pieces the company is working on and looking to produce.

In June 2025, we partnered up with the Union Theatre to showcase three outstanding pieces StageBase is passionate about developing further, and an opportunity to give our community of talented artists a platform for their work.

During the sharing of ‘Nesting at the Shore’ (James Robertson), ‘Retro Causality’ (Lucy Stepan) and ‘Tabia’ (Eleanor Willis), the audience discovered the talent of tomorrow.

A 5 week intensive peer to peer dramaturgical development programme for 5 early career artists with a showing of their full play at the end of the programme. Our writers have had successes with companies such as: Pentabus Theatre, BBC Radio 4, Omnibus Theatre, Union Theatre and the Arts Council.
